Kay And Konan The Queens Of Halloween Part 3

Some more story, now our intrepid Body Part Swapping heroines meet The Queens!

Emma Frost was sitting in the mansion of the X Men, which was undergoing yet another renovation.  It was another boring Halloween and she would be getting ready for a party, but this year things worked out where she'd be alone tonight.  Others were of scanning for danger using the various equipment available at the mansion.  So she was sent out for Tricker Treater duty at front door.  One of the few times that human children dared to wander up the X-Mansion, as the gates were usually closed and formidably guarded by various automatic systems.  However those systems were secret from the general public and were shut off when Halloween came around.  Emma with her telepathic abilities would be able to easily discern friend from foe of those who would come in costume to the front door.

To her surprise, a rare Halloween Tricker Treater rang the door bell.  She looked out the peep hole and saw two young giggling teenaged girls.  One had blue hair and wore a paper rose on her head, the other had long flowing black hair and dazzling green eyes.  Emma opened the door to get out the bowl of candy, when she sensed the girls thoughts.  "Wow!  That's the White Queen! She's beautiful!" The girl with the Paper Rose thought.  "Konan will love having that body" the girl with the black floating hair thought as Emma sensed some sort of power emanating from her.  With a split second, Emma used her telepathy to freeze Kay in her tracks.

Suddenly Konan attacked Emma, making several paper decorations and magazine fly into her.  Jean Grey and Kitty Pryde where watching the monitors, when they saw Emma get attacked and Jean ran towards the elevator.  "No Jean, let's take the fast way, Illanya!" Kitty said, suddenly her friend and team mate Magicke heard Kitty call her in room.  Magicke opened a mystical portal which enabled her to portal down to where Kitty and Jean were.  "What's going on, Kitty?" Magicke asked her.  "Someone's attacking the front door, Emma's holding them off alone!" Kitty explained.

Emma had transformed her body into her White Diamond hard form.  Kay was recovering from her telepathically induced trance.  Konan was doing her level best to take Emma down, throwing everything made of paper around at her again and again.  Magicke opened a portal that placed them directly behind Kay and Konan.  Placing her right hand on her temple to focus, Jean let out a telekinetic wave that made Konan drop suddenly to the ground, unable to move.   Kay saw Konan drop and immediately turned around to point her hands at Jean.  Put suddenly her hands disappeared as pink portals formed around her wrists.  "Ah ah, I sensed the dark magic in those hands of yours.  Surrender or I'll have my pet demons bite those off." Magicke taunted Kay.  "Kay!  Konan!" Kitty spat out.  "KITTY!" Kay said with a grin.

"Kitty, you know these girls?" Jean asked her.  "They're my friends!" Kitty told them.  "Well your friends planned to swap their heads onto Jean's and my own body!  I read their thoughts" Emma said, brushing the papers off of herself.  "They're Kay and Konan, that's what they do!" Kitty explained.  "You're just a body thief?", Jean said puzzled.  "Not just a body thief, the greatest thief in the meta-verse!" Kay added.  "Want me summon my demons to have some lady fingers" Magicke motioned at Jean.  "No, that won't be necessary, Illayna.  They'll explain themselves or we'll send them back where ever they came from." Jean said looking at the two girls.

Tip
Notice how I chose pictures for the heads much larger than the bodies?  The next step will show you why!

Tools Used:
MS Paint
   Select
   Paste
   Resize (On Black Queen)
Adobe ImageReady (GIMP maybe substituted or any similar program, provided you know the equivalent tools )
    New Layer
    Zoom In
    Move
    Eraser
    Magic Eraser (For cleaning off the excess bits from Kay and Konan's face pics)
    Pencil


Now, select all and copy.  Then open up Adobe ImageReady and select new.  Then paste.  Adobe Image Ready will already realize what you are trying to do and make the canvas the size you need to fit the pasted picture.  Now we are ready for some higher level manipulating!

First pic up Kay's head that we posted over The Black Queen's head, then paste it IN A NEW LAYER over where the little bottom part we kept of the Black Queen's costume.  Besure to erase all the colors you don't want to appear in the final work.  Use Magic Eraser to clean the area around Kay's head.  Then Zoom In, and with careful fitting with THE MOVE TOOL we place Kay's head over  the head of the Black Queen.  We do a little penciling because we want o make it look like Kay's wonderful long hair is now flowing over the back of the Black Queen.

TIP: to line up a head like this, make sure the back of Kay's neck is in line with the back of Black Queen's spine!

Also, all you headless lady lovers will love this, try taking a block of the back ground behind the Black Queen and pasting it over her head.  Suddenly she's a headless Dullahan!  Spooky!  I know I probably ruined with lives a little more with that tip. Just don't get obsessed XD

Back to our tutorial, now let's take Konan's head and place it on the white Queen's body!  Copy the Konan's head we placed on the White Queen's body.  Now paste it in a NEW LAYER.

Then move the head with the MOVE TOOL over the White QUeen's head, ZOOM IN to carefully line up the shoulders and bust with their corresponding places in the picture.  When you finish placing the head, merge down that layer with the layer where Kay's head is placed on The Black Queen's body.  Don't merge it down with the base picture!  This top layer will be where we sketch out our art!  The lower layer is only a base.
